Aquinas College awards credit for the Advanced Placement Program (AP) through the
College Board. Aquinas College will accept credit hours for those courses that are
considered comparable to courses offered at Aquinas College with a minimum score of
3, 4 or 5 (at the point of their 1st registration at Aquinas College) depending on
the specific course. Appropriate exemption, placement and acceptability of AP credit
toward specific majors are evaluated by the academic department concerned. Read More

the College Board. Aquinas College will accept credit hours for those courses that
are considered comparable to courses offered at Aquinas College that have the minimum
American Council on Education (ACE) recommended score. Acceptability of examinations
toward specific majors is evaluated by the academic department concerned. AQ CLEP Equivalencies
Aquinas College awards credit for the International Baccalaureate Program (IB), an
internationally recognized, pre-university curriculum that offers 11th and 12th grade
students the opportunity to earn credits, or a diploma, based on an academically challenged
integrated curriculum and international standards. Aquinas College will accept the
Higher Level (HL) courses and exams with a minimum score of 5 for general college
